Rinse the quinoa several times under cold water in order to remove the bitterness. Allow 40g per serving. Place the quinoa in a medium sized pan. Add 200ml of boiling water per 40g serving. Bring to the boil. Cover and simmer for 15-18 minutes until all the water has been absorbed and the quinoa is tender. Serve.
